THE BEGINNING
It Started With An Introduction,
An Introduction To Music:
KALIEDASCARE starts this project with love for old school Hip Hop, Boom-Bap, and R&B. Unfortunately he didn't have any mentors or rivals starting out, and he was unaware of how to compose a song to bare minimum. Over the course of this project, he experimented heavily to find the tones and range he felt most comfortable with.
To be frank, KALIEDASCARE's work from this era, does have volume and depth, lyrically it still stands out as a motivational piece, but the delivery and cadence of this particular era is: amateur.
But he doesn't complain, he loves how bad it sounds. It clearly shows how much work can be put in, and how someone can get results when they do something someone else thinks; sounds bad.

His second project was made with a lot more heart. Soul/R&B drive this project with ties to some Old-School Rap and Jazz Ballads. Kaliedascare finds more of his voice, more opportunities to deliver a different sound accordingly. With every track, the listener is brought deeper into a cryptic story of self-reflection, acceptance, finding love, and balancing life as a young adult.
True to its title, Kaliedascare tries different ways to get recognition dropping one song after another. Sadly his efforts go un-noticed putting him in a corner of self-doubt and reflection. Through this criticism he is humbled, and continues his work diligently.
His name is said to him in a question:
"Is it Kuh-lie-dio-scare?"
It's close enough. At this point in time Kaliedascare had no strong intentions of what he could do with the music he was making, let alone how his alias was said.
It was at this moment he knew:
He wanted it right.

65%
Sixty Five Percent is a perfect example of Kaliedascare using different techniques, schemes, and one-liners. Almost every song in this chapter has catchy lyrics, easy to remember stories, and solid hooks. Listeners have a better picture on Kaliedascare's opinions regarding the industry and his place in the world. His execution and delivery of this project show his growth as an artist, as he starts to record and release more frequently.
Sixty Five Percent itself is a catch-phrase Kaliedascare uses on a daily basis, to keep himself focused. When things are too complicated or overwhelming, a disruptor for the mind is needed. It takes the pressure off situations that may seem hard to resolve.
During his last year of high school, Kaliedascare released Smoke, iconically the best song of this playlist. (A personal favorite if I do say so myself). Smoke was a game changer, the recording and mastering of it was done in one night and released the next day, with no word until the following. He purchased and posted it everywhere, playing it over 100x to himself to make sure it was perfect. With no edits that could be made, he was satisfied.
With all the tracks in this list, there is a sort of air around him in the studio. He's starting to be serious about his work, how long it takes him, and who he can work with. After receiving feedback from his close friends and family, he got on his shit big-time.

THEN THERE WERE TRIALS:
This project is done in an insane fashion. One after another is heavily motivated by Kaliedascare's found passion in making music. His new momentum livens his compatriots to record and release more of their own music. Finally, he has a pace for recording.
The only thing in his way is himself. The idea of creating something else didn’t appeal to him, and promotion was a dead-pool. Focusing on creating merchandise and signal boosting instead of being in the studio was unnerving for him. It’s funny because looking back, he spent a lot of time trying to find details on how to market, and then after not finding results, was upset and regretful that he didn’t record.
He looked for radio engagements, and performances hoping for a chance. To no avail he emailed, and checked for any sort of management or representation. All he received at that time was emails from spammers and ads. Frustration started to take over and Kaliedascare for a minute, was boggled. How could he be an artist and not a salesman
This happened a lot through Trials and Tribulations, and honestly it was troubling for him; making good tracks and still being stressed. On top of that, there were several different aspects of Kaliedascare’s life, that were not very heartwarming, rather heartbreaking; His friends deciding to pursue their own futures, struggling to constantly find a new job, keeping his social life intact, and losing loved ones.

A Tale Called Kaliedascare, is my new project starring yours truly, probably two other artists, and Astro (ColdTree’s dog.xoxo Love you Astro.)
Anyways, this project has been by far my favorite. I know I’ve said that a lot, but hear me out. This was put together this year, and it's not finished yet. Hopefully I will finish it by the end of the year. For now my plan is to make it for the year and split it up where I take breaks. So hopefully, if I put the pen down it wont be for too long.
Regardless, I really showed out this time around. And I know its kind of crazy of me to make so many different things, and they may not be perfect, but at least I know I can hear for it. That way I can make adjustments when I work with artists in that genre specialty. Or fuck it I'll do it all. —KS.
